Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Sr. Programmer Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas. Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users. Analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement. Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality. Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems. Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes. Act as a SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and four (4) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Four (4) years of experience must include: Translating complex business or functional problems into sound technical solutions using materials from multiple sources to analyze processes and workflows; Designing the internal workings of an application using architecture diagrams, design patterns, and application of software design principles to perform the functions in a business requirement as part of application design; Handling application development in standard industry development technologies including Java, MySQL, Springboot, Jenkins, Swagger, Postman, AWS, Amazon Elastic MapReduce, REST API, and Microservices; and Troubleshooting application code to identify root-cause of issues and provide quick resolutions, focusing on stability and quality while maintaining application systems.
