Located at the European Divisional Support Centre in Irvine, Ayrshire, this 12-to-15-month placement position will report to a key member of the Information Technology Department. This position is available for Hybrid Working.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The successful applicant will work in a team responsible for providing the following key responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the development of effective partnerships with the business in order to provide technology solutions which deliver value-added business benefits, recommend business solutions and provide specialist technical expertise.

  • Participates in the review and analysis of business information to determine efficient solutions.

  • Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of business requirements and recommend solutions to management that enable the organisation to achieve its goals.

  • Understand/follow the complete requirements of System Development Life Cycle and assure alignment – definition phase through to proper and complete documentation phase.

  • Execute process redesign and improvement activities, including incorporating "best practices" approaches.

  • Deliver solutions that align with ongoing business strategy and ensure that project deliverables are met according to specifications and to the satisfaction of the customer.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Candidates should be students working towards a Degree in Systems/ Business Analyst related courses.

  • Candidates must have good customer focused skills to enable them to correspond effectively.

  • Candidates should be competent in Microsoft Office, Application of systems knowledge base.

  • Candidates should be able to work enthusiastically and efficiently within a team.

  • Additional languages would be advantageous.
