We’re seeking a driven and client-focused Water Resource Recovery Project Manager to join our water/wastewater treatment and conveyance team in any of our Southern California offices (Los Angeles or Irvine). As a key member of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects as the Project Manager for water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects - planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning.

You will be leading a multidiscipline design team to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies. • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or other related degree.

• At least 10 years of experience in relevant water/wastewater industry.

• Experience planning and designing small to large treatment and conveyance projects involving complex, multidiscipline, municipal wastewater treatment design projects.

• Licensed CA Professional Engineer (Civil).

• Proven ability to manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team.

• Ability to lead the design and preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, studies, proposals and/or reports.

• Excellent communication and writing skills.

• Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities.

Ideally, you'll also have:

• A Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

• Los Angeles/Orange County experience

• Ability to serve as the technical liaison/leader between the project owner and the design team

• Business development, interpersonal, and networking skills that can be combined with the significant resources that we have available across Jacobs to gain market share

• Experience support business development activities with local clients
