A Test Technician in the Irvine, CA area is needed for a multinational power management company. This role involves performing bench testing and assembly of mechanical and electromechanical parts, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining detailed reports, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in a manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:

• Perform bench testing of various parts, subassemblies, and completed units following established procedures.

• Use simple limit direct reading gauges and meters to perform bench work.

• Build/fabricate own setup operations on less complicated test systems.

• Connect products to test equipment, monitor gauges and meters, and record results.

• Comply with safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of equipment.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area following 5S standards.

• Complete and maintain proper reports and checklists.

• Work under general supervision, escalating problems to Lead Tester or Production Test Supervisor.

Skills:

• Knowledge of basic math operations.

• Proficiency in using direct reading and fixed gauges.

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

• Follow safety practices and procedures.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 1-2 years of experience in Mechanical/Electromechanical Assembly, or Fuel, Hydraulic, and/or Pneumatic Testing.
