Job Title: Test Technician

Job Description

Our client, located in Irvine, specializes in manufacturing advanced electronic components and systems. Their offerings include RF modules, system-on-modules (SOMs), single board computers, internal antennas, IoT devices, and custom solutions. The Irvine facility is noted for its high-quality manufacturing processes, which emphasize flexibility and customization to meet specific customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional tests on circuit boards.

  • Install electrical assemblies and hardware into housings.

  • Test assembled instruments for circuit continuity and operational reliability.

  • Consult with supervisors or test engineers to review test results.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Read and follow instructions to prepare and set up test equipment.

  • Regularly maintain lab and testing equipment.

  • Switch between projects based on priorities.

  • Report any issues to supervisors or test engineers.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a very clean, small manufacturing site. The position operates on the 1st shift, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional opportunities for overtime after the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
