We're looking for a Sr. Construction Manager to be based in the Los Angeles County/Orange County, CA area who is excited about working on projects supporting our clients’ business and business practices. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on construction projects including roads, rapid transit, bridges, tunnels You will be expected to be able to work with clients and contractors with the knowledge of construction practices including change management, safety, quality assurance, scheduling, estimating, price negotiations, and oversight of day-to-day activities. By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you’ll help our teams achieve our client’s objectives. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. Experience with railroad construction projects is a must and grade separation experience is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in in Civil Engineering, or related discipline

• 20+ years of proven experience in Caltrans Construction Management working on transportations projects in California

• Knowledge of construction including material, methods, plans and specifications; associated safety requirements.

• Knowledge of current and upcoming relevant local, regional, state and federal regulations governing design, construction, contracting, environmental, and safety measures

• Experience with projects utilizing CM/GC project delivery, or any other alternative delivery.

• Experience with railroad grade separation project, including working with Metrolink, Amtrak, Union Pacific and/or BNSF.

• Experience supporting clients on multiple capital projects.

• Perform engineering calculations for construction of bridges and other structure components, including temporary support structures for transportation facilities.

• Required to have and maintain a satisfactory driving record

Ideally, You’ll Also Have: 

• Current and valid registration as a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) Certification

• Proven experience and knowledge with Transportation projects
