Position: Production Supervisor
Compensation: $23-$28 per hour
Job Description:
The Production Supervisor will monitor warehouse activity to ensure shipping targets are being met. You will lead the team by example and foster a safe work environment.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
Manage the production teams (pickers & packers) to process all orders accurately & on time.
Responsible for upholding warehouse safety, assignment accuracy, productivity levels, and facility maintenance.
Coordinate warehouse activities under the direction of the Warehouse/Operations Manager.
Work with other departments to assign labor & equipment to execute all operational needs
Train & develop warehouse associate/lead roles for back-ups & future opportunities
Review & Approve production team timecards while following all company Time & Attendance Policies.
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of five (5) years’ supervisor experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in training and motivating staff
Forklift Certified preferred, but not required
Ability to operate various pieces of equipment (manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, handheld scanner, box cutter, picking cart, desktop computer, shrink wrap, and baler)
Minimum of one (1) year experience using FedEx, UPS, and DHL software for the purpose of shipping
Ability to work well under general or minimal supervision
Ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment
Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
Minimum of 3-5 years’ of WMS (Scale) experience preferred but not required
