Western Digital Technologies Principal Devops Engineer in Irvine, California
We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer specialized in security and git operations to lead several initiatives in collaboration with the product development teams and product security assurance team. A strong candidate for this role will have good fundamentals on DevOps practices, an eye for security and make it happen attitude.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Develop and implement automated security testing tools and processes to identify vulnerabilities early in the development process.
- Implement monitoring solutions, respond to incidents, building rapid response and debugging capabilities.
- Create and maintain documentation related to operations, processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies, proposing improvements to existing implementations to optimize development workflows
- Foster strong collaboration between development and operations teams, promoting a DevOps culture focused on efficiency, transparency, and continuous improvement.
