Job Description

• We are seeking a versatile Software Developer with expertise in both Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) in C++ as well as Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) in C#.

• This role involves working on two different Microsoft product applications, requiring a candidate who can seamlessly transition between teams and projects.

• Will be helping to update Legacy Medical Device Software - improving functionality of the product not making major changes.

• Will involve documentation for FDA compliance, and communication / working with a small team is critical.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to review documentation, update requirements, and design documentation.

• Implement code and ensure it meets design specifications.

• Work closely with the test team to ensure the software fits the design and functions correctly.

• Adapt to an existing product environment and implement changes with minimal impact on system functionality.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with MFC and WPF, with a preference for candidates with at least 10 years of experience.

• Strong understanding of both MFC and WPF frameworks.

• Experience with desktop applications, particularly those interfacing with embedded controllers.

• Familiarity with cyber security requirements in software development.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Communication, personality, ability to work well with others on a small team.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Work Environment

• The role involves working on a team with 3-6 people within the Irvine office, which has a total of 20 people in the engineering team.

• This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days on-site each week, with days changing based on team needs.

• The office fosters collaboration and innovation, providing opportunities for growth and leadership.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $100.00/hr.
