Job Title: Industrial EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer who will be assigned to a production line. You will collaborate with production, manufacturing, and quality teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in our processes. Your role will involve facilitating Tier 1 meetings, conducting data analysis, initiating improvement projects, and creating KPIs and tracking systems for business units.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Tier 1 meetings to discuss previous day's production performance

• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and determine efficiencies

• Initiate projects aimed at improving efficiency

• Create KPIs and tracking systems for business units

• Apply lean manufacturing principles to enhance production processes

• Perform time studies and data analysis for continuous improvement

• Facilitate continuous improvement events

• Ensure continuous improvement of production lines

Essential Skills

• Continuous improvement

• Lean manufacturing

• Six Sigma

• Industrial engineering

• Data analysis

• Experience with medical device manufacturing

• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables

• At least 1 year of experience as an Industrial Engineer or in continuous improvement

• B.S. in Industrial Engineering

• Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry

Work Environment

This is a first shift opportunity (8am-5pm) working in medical device manufacturing. Each Industrial Engineer supports one of the six production lines at the site. There are currently three Industrial Engineers on the team. You will always be working on novel situations, new challenges, and projects, with the potential for the duration to be extended and/or converted to a full-time position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
