Robert Half Finance Business Systems Analyst in Irvine, California

Description We are looking for a Finance Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Irvine, California. The individual will be tasked with providing production support, managing projects, and optimizing finance systems processes. With a focus on Oracle platform, the role involves conducting audits, maintaining specialization, and training clients on new processes.

Responsibilities:

• Research and resolve Oracle problems, unexpected results, and process flaws in a timely manner.

• Manage projects and process improvement, applying change management experience to facilitate quality enhancement.

• Optimize finance systems processes by integrating software and systems to build highly automated set of processes.

• Conduct thorough audits on finance processes, documents, and data.

• Make decisions that align with available facts, constraints, and consequences.

• Constantly learn new technologies, attend seminars/conferences, and increase finance and finance systems application/tools knowledge.

• Maintain a specialization in Oracle platform and its application.

• Champion process and customer service improvements, and propose innovative solutions.

• Use process and technical knowledge to obtain appropriate approval before implementation.

• Conduct training sessions, develop user procedures, and guidelines.

• Train clients on new processes, functionalities, and new system users. Requirements • Proven experience as a Finance Business Systems Analyst or similar role for a minimum of 7 years.

• Proficiency in Business Systems and System Analysis.

• Expertise in Oracle Fusion, Oracle Fusion Financials, Oracle EBS, Oracle EBS Financials, and Oracle EBS Modules.

• Experience in SQL Queries, SQL Reporting, and SQL Performance Tuning.

• Knowledge of OTBI, IFRS - Intl Financial Reporting Stds, Customization, Customized Reports, Performance Tuning, and PL/SQL.

• Familiarity with Oracle Analytics Cloud.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex data.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present data insights to non-technical team members and stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and data analysis.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under strict deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
