The Role:
As the Executive Director of Behavioral Health for our South Division, you will be a driving force in shaping the future of behavioral healthcare. You will provide strategic leadership, clinical expertise, and operational guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care across our diverse service lines.

Strategic Visionary: Develop and implement a comprehensive behavioral health strategy that aligns with Providence's mission and addresses the evolving needs of our communities.
Collaboration Catalyst: Foster strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, administrators, community organizations, and government agencies to create a seamless continuum of care.
Clinical Quality Champion: Promote a culture of excellence in clinical care, emphasizing evidence-based practices, patient safety, and continuous improvement.
Operational Maestro: Oversee the daily operations of behavioral health services, ensuring efficient resource utilization and optimal service delivery.
Team Leader & Mentor: Cultivate a collaborative and supportive work environment that empowers staff, promotes professional development, and fosters caregiver well-being.
Community Advocate: Build strong relationships with community partners, advocate for policy changes, and secure funding to support behavioral health initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
Behavioral Health Expertise: A Master's degree in psychology, social work, healthcare administration, or a related field, with a clinical background in behavioral health highly preferred.
Leadership Acumen: 10+ years of experience in behavioral health leadership, demonstrating a proven track record of success in managing and expanding services.
Strategic Thinking: The ability to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to address complex challenges.
Collaboration & Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence diverse audiences.
Passion for Making a Difference: A deep commitment to improving the lives of individuals affected by mental health and substance use disorders.
