Actalent Environmental Project Manager in Irvine, California
Job Description
As an Environmental Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing environmental investigation and remediation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Your role will involve preparing technical reports for submission to regulatory agencies. You will conduct soil sampling, environmental monitoring, and other fieldwork activities, collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success. Additionally, you will mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Utilizing project management tools, you will manage project data and documentation while staying current with regulatory frameworks and compliance trends.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee environmental investigation and remediation projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
Prepare and submit technical reports to regulatory agencies
Conduct soil sampling, environmental monitoring, and other fieldwork activities.
Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
Mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance and support.
Utilize project management tools to manage project data and documentation.
Stay current with regulatory frameworks and compliance trends.
Required Skills
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental consulting in California.
Must be able to write reports.
Must be able to provide transcripts.
5-10 years of demonstrated capability in the environmental science or engineering field.
Proven technical skills as applied to environmental investigation and remediation projects.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $65.00/hr.
