Google Director, Top Partner, Global Partnerships, LATAM in Irvine, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 15 years of experience in strategy consulting, business development, or corporate strategy leadership.

  • 5 years of experience in management, leading teams in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing partners and leading complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

  • Experience leading cross-functional strategic projects (e.g., strategic plan, new product launch) from inception to deployment.

  • Experience influencing leaders and presenting to executives, and with successfully navigating senior stakeholder relationships and conflict resolution.

  • Ability to lead through change, adapt to ambiguity, and succeed in fast-paced environments.

Within Global Partnerships, the Top Partner team comprises industry experts who engage with external partners and internal teams. As a Director on this team, your role is pivotal in cultivating relationships with peers across Google, leveraging your influencing and relationship-building skills to drive proactive dealmaking and holistic partnership strategies.

You will lead a team of Top Partner Managers responsible for 40 of Google's most strategic partners across Retail, Commerce, Finance, Travel, and LATAM, including industry bodies. Your team will develop cross-Google strategies for these partners, engaging externally to manage partner-facing pursuits across Google.

In this role, you will immerse yourself in holistic partner strategies to glean insights on macro industry trends, identify transformational opportunities, and interact externally with key partners and industry bodies. As a thought leader, you will challenge, advise, and support our business and product teams to optimize Google's engagements with these partners.

Your ability to solve ambiguous problems, apply sound business judgment, and communicate complex issues effectively, combined with the market and partner-specific expertise you will build, will enable you to lead this team to form and deliver insightful perspectives on Google's partnership strategies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$363,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead and develop a team of internal experts on Retail, Commerce, Finance, Travel, and LATAM partners, working in close collaboration with senior stakeholders across Google (including AMS sales and BD teams, Cloud, and Product stakeholders) to establish and drive a holistic “One Google” partnership strategy.

  • Lead the development and activation of industry-specific and allyship strategies, incorporating critical and emerging topics (e.g. GenAI). Work with Americas customer-facing and cross-functional teams to develop and utilize playbooks across these topics.

  • Lead global working groups composed of industry leaders and Top Partner Managers to take on critical, widespread industry, and strategy topics.

  • Set the strategic direction for providing scaled “One Google” support for this critical book of business, including evaluating and refreshing the book as needed based on Top Partner Program criteria.
