Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA

National multidisciplinary consulting firm comprising of civil engineers and structural engineers is seeking a talented Civil Design Engineer to join our team in Irivne, CA. The Engineer will support a variety of projects including residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, recreational, and mixed-use master planned developments throughout Southern California. The Design Engineer will be responsible for producing Rough Grading Plans, Precise Grading Plans, Street, Sewer, Water and Storm Drain Improvement Plans, Site Plan Development, and Tentative Map Preparation.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience designing in AutoCAD Civil 3D

• High level of proficiency with cut/fill balance grading, drainage, and street design in Civil 3D

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

• Ability to lead plan preparation from the acquisition of survey data and base map preparation through final mylars and record drawings with minimal direction

• Ability to coordinate with the design team, outside consultants, and public agencies

• Ability to set up and manage AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards

• Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings

• Willingness to mentor and teach others

• Detail-oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter

• Demonstrates basic knowledge and application of engineering principles

Additional Information:

• Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 per Year (Negotiable based upon experience)

• Worksite: Hybrid work schedule
