Job Title: Civil Design EngineerLocation: Irvine, CA

Growing multi-disciplinary consulting firm specializing in civil and structural engineering and land surveying, with over 45 years of experience. They work with clients on projects nationwide from their seven office locations in Wisconsin, Illinois, and California.

Position Overview:

Seeking a talented Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Irvine, CA. The Engineer will support a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, recreational, and mixed-use master-planned developments throughout Southern California.

Responsibilities:

• Produce Rough Grading Plans, Precise Grading Plans, Street, Sewer, Water, and Storm Drain Improvement Plans, Site Plan Development, and Tentative Map Preparation.

• Lead plan preparation from the acquisition of survey data and base map preparation through final mylars and record drawings with minimal direction.

• Coordinate with the design team, outside consultants, and public agencies.

• Set up and manage AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards.

• Set up and manage printing/plotting settings.

• Mentor and teach others.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience designing in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• High level of proficiency with cut/fill balance grading, drainage, and street design in Civil 3D.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Detail-oriented, professional attitude, good communication skills, team player, and self-starter.

• Demonstrates basic knowledge and application of engineering principles.

Additional Information:

• Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 per year (negotiable based on experience).

• Worksite: Hybrid work schedule.
