Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HPLC Chemistry Associate to support in-process and finished products in a chemistry lab that manufactures antibiotics. The candidate will be responsible for testing materials , assisting the team with wet chemistry and quick testing methods. Responsibilities include performing routine lab analysis of in-process, finished products, raw materials, and stability samples using wet chemistry techniques and instruments such as HPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR, TOC, pH Meters, etc.
Position: QC Chemistry Associate II
Pay Rate: $25-30/hr
Shift: Wednesday – Saturday 9am-7:30pm (4x10 schedule with 2 hrs of OT/day)
Candidate cannot have any allergies to penicillin
Ideal candidates can interview and start within 1-2 weeks.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, Chemistry preferred
2-4 years of experience with chemistry techniques
Entry-level chemist associate to support the chemistry lab team

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Irvine, California.
Work Environment
QC Chemistry lab working with HPLC instruments and performing wet chemistry testing with UV-Vis. The candidate will be required to gown up in a sterile work suit before entering the lab and shower once they are done to prevent cross-contamination and bringing home any antibiotic materials that could expose others.
