Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team based in Irvine, California. In this role, you will manage a variety of accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, cash applications, and customer account management. This is a contract opportunity that offers the chance to work within the finance industry and utilize skills such as Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Epic Software, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately generate and process invoices based on contract terms

• Review and verify sales orders, contracts, and billing information

• Timely delivery of invoices to customers and ensure receipt confirmation

• Manage incoming payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and credit card payments

• Apply payments to the correct customer accounts using Sage Intacct

• Reconcile payments with corresponding invoices and resolve any discrepancies

• Maintain and update customer account records regularly in Sage Intacct

• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve any account-related issues

• Assist in the preparation of aging reports and provide visibility into outstanding balances

• Regularly reconcile accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy

• Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes by preparing required reports

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with teams to enhance AR operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with CRM systems

• Ability to use Epic Software

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Billing Functions

• Experience in managing Cash Activity

• Ability to handle Cash accurately and responsibly

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct software
