Damian's Pasta Works of Iron Mountain is seeking a Part-Time Counter Clerk to join our team. We are a popular and well-loved pasta restaurant, and we are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, customer-focused, and committed to providing exceptional service. Key Responsibilities:
As a Part-Time Counter Clerk at Damian's Pasta Works, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Phone: Answering customer inquiries and taking phone orders in a polite and efficient manner.
- Counter: Greeting and assisting customers at the counter, providing information about our menu, and taking their orders.
- Cashier: Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately, processing payments, and providing receipts to customers.
- Prep Work: Assisting with food preparation tasks, such as assembling to-go orders, packaging items, and ensuring the counter area is well-stocked and organized.
- Dishes: Washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness in the work area.
- Taking Orders: Accurately recording and relaying customer orders to the kitchen staff, ensuring special requests are noted.
- Customer Service: Providing outstanding customer service, addressing customer concerns or complaints professionally, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work evening shifts.
- Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant setting is a plus but not required.
