Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Accompanist to join our team at City High. This is a part-time position that requires a skilled pianist to accompany our choir and musical theater students during rehearsals and performances. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our students and staff.
Responsibilities:
Accompany choir and musical theater students during rehearsals and performances
Provide musical support and guidance to students
Collaborate with music teachers and directors to ensure a cohesive and successful performance
Attend all rehearsals and performances as required
Maintain a high level of professionalism and respect for the school community
Requirements:
Strong piano skills and experience accompanying choirs and/or musical theater productions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well with students and staff in a collaborative environment
Availability to attend rehearsals and performances as required
A passion for music and teaching
A degree or certification in music is preferred, but not required.
