Description

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to be part of our team in Nassau County, United States. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the full cycle budget process, providing finance support to the accounting and financial operations teams, identifying business challenges and proposing solutions, and working on corporate projects that impact the entire organization.

Responsibilities:

• Support the full cycle budget process in managing data, building dashboards, and reports, and data validation.

• Collaborate with the finance team on metrics, goals, and business reviews.

• Provide timely FP& A finance support to the accounting and financial operations teams related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics.

• Identify business challenges and propose innovative solutions.

• Dive deeply into financial data to provide additional insights.

• Work on corporate projects as directed by the finance team that impact the entire organization.

• Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.

• Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and monthly reporting – proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.

• Utilize accounting software systems, CRM, and data mining techniques to perform accounting functions and capital management

Requirements • Must have a minimum of two years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Experience with CRM, Crystal Reports, and Data Mining Techniques is necessary.

• A solid understanding of Accounting Functions, Accrual Accounting, Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management is essential.

• The candidate must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed.

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines is crucial.

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications are necessary.

• Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large amounts of data.

• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.

• The candidate must have a strong ethical framework and unquestionable integrity.
