We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Learning and Development Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic human resources team, reporting to the Operations Director of Learning and Development. The Senior Learning and Development Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development (L&D) team by coordinating and executing various logistical aspects of our training programs and projects. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for learning and development.

This is a hybrid role that has the flexibility to work 2-3 days per week at our Inver Grove Heights headquarters and 1- 2 days per week at home.

Responsibilities

Program Coordination & Logistics: Collaborate with various L&D team members and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of in-person and virtual training sessions, projects and workshops.

  • Coordinate and execute the logistics of training programs, including scheduling, room reservations and set-up, lodging, catering, materials preparation and printing.

  • Maintain and update training records, learning schedules, program details and rosters leveraging excel, SuccessFactors (SAP) and Learning Pool.

  • Order necessary materials for training programs and prepare, pack, track and ship materials to various locations for training programs.

  • Set up and manage program and event registration and participant information for in-person and virtual learning events. Log attendance and upload for training history.

  • Maintain and reconcile various spreadsheets and systems to understand program status and progress for over 100 learning programs annually.

Learning and Development Team Collaboration:

  • Provide support to the L&D team, including managing communications, preparing reports, creating PowerPoint presentations and handling general learning and development inquiries from our stakeholders and customers.

  • Create and maintain process mapping projects and activities and procedural documents for the learning and development team.

  • Point of contact for our internal Tuition Reimbursement policy.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of L&D team events, such as conferences, seminars, and team-building activities.

  • Maintain learning and development team calendar and email account for program inquiries, troubleshoot and provide follow up in a timely manner.

  • Undertake ad hoc projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • High School diploma or GED, 1+ years’ experience in Learning and Development, Executive Assistance or Human Resources

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple enterprise programs, projects and learning initiatives

  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Forms, MS Planner, and/or MS Project

  • Advanced level experience with MS PowerPoint and Excel

  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Inquisitive, self-starter with excellent customer service skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

  • Effective problem solving and decision-making skills.

Additional Qualifications

  • Prior knowledge of various development programs and projects associated with external vendors such as: Franklin Covey, Crucial Learning, MyEverything DiSC, LinkedIn Learning, mentoring and coaching

  • Prior work experience of HR systems, e-learning systems, such as SAP SuccessFactors or Learning Pool

  • Survey and Feedback Tools: Tools like SurveyMonkey, Google Forms, and Qualtrics to collect and analyze employee feedback.

  • Utilize Power BI for data analysis and reporting.

  • Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
