People * Customers * Trust We are seeking resumes for a Production Scheduler in our International Falls, MN Paper Mill. The International Falls facility is a White Paper Mill owned by Packaging Corporation of America. The Assistant Production Scheduler is responsible for providing human resource and administrative support to the manufacturing facility ensuring effective application of all human resource and payroll activities and to provide administrative support to other management positions as requested. Responsible for scheduling of labor workforce within multiple departments at International Falls mill. Familiarity with Labor Agreement language and policies for scheduling workforce management. Responsible for processing of weekly payroll. Backup payroll administrator for other mill departments. as necessary or required. Responsible for monthly accounting accruals for budgets and labor cost forecasting Maintain departmental computer programs (Proficy, Sharepoint, LMS etc.) Ensure department training needs are current. Coordinate and audit on the job training and checklist completion for each department compliance. WorkSight payroll processing expert for departments as assigned Work closely with HR department to ensure payroll/timecard, recruiting and staffing policies are accurate and timely. Oversees policy application and compliance. Know, follow and enforce policies and procedures of the company for compliance and consistency Assist with other projects as needed such as: Credit card reconciliation Boiler and other department licenses are completed within requirements Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: Minimum three years' experience secretarial/clerical function preferably in a manufacturing environment. One to two years previous work experience in a related capacity, demonstrating knowledge and understanding of payroll processes, labor agreements, training and development. Solid working knowledge of PC applications including an understanding of Word, Excel, Outlook, Worksight and PowerPoint. Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with multiple audiences throughout the company on procedures, policies, and requests for information.
