POSITION SUMMARY:
TrueTimber is a design, distribution, and sourcing company, with over 90 employees, located in Inman, SC. The company specializes in apparel, textiles, marine components, hydrographic film and outdoor recreational accessories. As a subsidiary of the national outdoor retailer, Bass Pro Shops since 2014, the company has experienced high levels of growth year after year and provides talented individuals accelerated career growth within the company.
TrueTimber is currently seeking a self-motivated, highly organized Product Manager to join the team at TrueTimber Outdoors. As the Product Manager, you will work with the product development team on product approvals and production WIP to ensure a seamless development and production process. The Product Manager will also meet with current and prospective customers presenting new opportunities growing the overall business and securing long term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee product development WIP to keep delivery on time.
Ensure pre-production approvals are timely while maintaining product integrity.
Build strong relationships with both suppliers and customers.
Manage factory compliance – both in current factories and onboarding new suppliers.
Work with leadership team to build new products for existing and new customers.
Travel off-site for customer visits regularly.
Support other teams as needed, being flexible to assist in multiple departments.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience managing tight timelines and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Understanding of international production timelines.
Knowledge of fabrics and trims. Good sense of color is a plus
Experience with PLM systems is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy is critical
Must work well in a team unit
Proficient in problem solving
3-5 years experience in the apparel manufacturing industry
