Boehringer Ingelheim Senior Data Analytics Operations Manager - Data Management in Ingelheim, Germany

The Position

Embrace the challenge as a Senior Data Analytics Operations Manager, where your expertise in Quality Medicine (QM) will be instrumental in ensuring data integrity. As a key player in our Quality Analytics & Risk Management Team, you will lead Data Management activities, shaping the future of our department. This is not just a job - it's an opportunity to be a Capability Lead, making a tangible difference in our dynamic team.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Step into a pivotal role where you will establish and implement the quality standards for the data generated in QM. Your expertise will shape the future of Data Management practices in our organization.

  • Embrace the responsibility of being the Global Process Owner (GPO) for related processes. Your strategic oversight of the Knowledge Management Assets and related tools and systems will ensure the highest standards of Data Management across our business.

  • Take the lead in QM Data Management, providing functional leadership to both internal and external colleagues. Your leadership skills will be instrumental in driving the success of our Data Quality endeavors.

  • Become the driving force behind the continuous education of our QM Coding Team members. Your commitment to fostering knowledge and skills will ensure our team stays at the forefront of industry developments.

  • Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure the integrity and accuracy of our data, contributing to the overall quality of our work and facilitating advanced reporting and analytics.

  • Take charge of the execution of Data Cleaning Processes and Projects, ensuring they are effectively and efficiently managed. Your project management skills will be key in driving these important initiatives to successful completion.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in scientific discipline with several years of experience in GxP within pharmaceutical industry; a PhD would be a valuable addition

  • Extensive knowledge in Project Management including experience in Data Quality Management initiatives

  • Demonstrated practice in leadership and strategic problem-solving, paired with good knowledge about processes and quality management, as well as functional management experience

  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, MS Project, database tools, and the talent to quickly learn new systems

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to accomplish multiple tasks of varied complexity simultaneously

  • Outstanding capability and confidence to present complicated content in a clear, understandable and targeted manner

  • Top-notch communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, combined with fluency in English (both spoken and written)
