Tasks & responsibilities
As the Head of Central Data Science, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data science strategy and its corresponding products/ services, making a tangible impact on our organization and our customers.
You will be a catalyst for change, leading efforts to enhance data literacy across the organization.
You will collaborate closely with Business and IT partners to implement new technologies, empowering users to leverage these tools to drive performance and innovation.
Additionally, you and your team will lead the company-wide data literacy education program.
In this role, you will ensure upskilling activities are in place to provide highly qualified data scientists for all high-impact products, projects and other initiatives.
You will also oversee vendor management, ensuring that vendors adhere to our defined development standards and maintain a high level of performance.
To foster an environment of excellence, organizational flexibility, and diversity, you will actively engage in talent and personnel management.
Requirements
Academic degree (e.g., MEng, MSc) in computer sciences, computer engineering, business administration or comparable
Long term years’ experience in IT and business as senior executive leader
Profound knowledge in Data Science and related technologies
Expert knowledge in Platform Management and a strong proficiency in AI and ML Engineering
Track record in implementing technologies and realizing business benefit in a global environment
Knowledge of international regulatory requirements for computer systems used for pharmaceutical activities
Strong strategic thinker, motivator and business-oriented mindset
Creative, curious and strong networking skills
