Job Title: Waste Water Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wastewater Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards in an industrial environment. This role requires a strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems, including pumps, valves, and filtration equipment in an industrial environment

  • Monitor and adjust treatment processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on wastewater equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in the treatment systems

  • Collect and analyze water samples to monitor treatment effectiveness

  • Maintain accurate records of treatment processes, maintenance activities, and regulatory compliance

  • Collaborate with environmental and engineering teams to optimize treatment processes

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining wastewater treatment systems

  • Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and equipment

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

  • Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in wastewater treatment or a related field

  • Experience with SCADA systems and other automation tools

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
