Job Overview: We are looking for a Toolmaker Associate who has previous experience working in a machine shop. The ideal candidate will provide technical, fabrication, and tool making support to manufacturing and product development. They produce, repair, and modify jigs, fixtures, gauges, dies and other pieces of mechanical equipment and tools with high precision specifications by interpreting blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions and specifications. The Toolmaker operates all mechanical equipment including the milling machines, lathes, grinders, saws and heat-treating equipment located in the tool room.

Responsibilities and Duties (include but are not limited to):

• Follow relevant MTTM procedures and the MTTM Quality Policy
• Interpret drawings for manufacture of tooling, jigs, and fixtures
• Specify and order material requirements
• Build and maintain tooling, jigs, and fixtures

Minimum Qualification:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Strong mathematical skills
• Experience or familiar with machine shop equipment
• Experience with Haas Mills (Preferred)
• Must have your own tool (indicators, mics, hand tools, etc.)
• Mastercam experience (a Plus)

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Communicate effectively
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Able to walk, bend, and reach with both hands
