Dextera Corporation Senior Program Analyst in Indianapolis, Indiana
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Program Analyst –supports the CBP Mission Support Division (MSD). The position will perform business management functions and communication support internally to the organization. This support will enable MSD to effectively document workflows, quantify workloads, and disseminate data to internal and external stakeholders. This position is responsible for the selection and application of CBP established procedures and techniques and for the protection of sensitive financial information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Analysis and review of specialized processing task(s) including but not limited to assisting in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Documentation ensuring workflows and procedures are documented to serve as a resource for personnel.
Full ownership of assigned processing and responsibility for completion; delegating tasks as needed to ensure completion.
Dashboard Creation for functions
Budget vs Actuals to monitor department spending vs planned
Staffing Projection to monitor planned vs hired staffing
Tasker to monitor planned department request vs executed
Market place to monitor planned purchases vs expensed
Ability to prepare written reports and oral presentations of findings.
Business Management Support:
Communicate with both internal and external stakeholder’s departmental results
Preparing reports as requested with data from SAP
Provide suggestions for existing workflows and update SOP documents
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and documenting account information and reducing recurring errors
Coordinate effectively with peers and management on a regular basis
Utilization of Microsoft Excel (Advance level).
Knowledge of SAP systems, helpful.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field of study with a minimum of 2 years of work experience performing similar work.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience with developing and writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Must have Advanced level experience using MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
Advanced knowledge of and/or experience with accounting principles and practices.
Ability to interpret and apply federal payroll regulations.
Ability to multi-task effectively.
Ability to perform complex problem resolution.
Ability to provide excellent customer support.
Proficient in communicating analysis and recommendations orally and in writing to management and other stakeholders.
