Exelead Inc, USA Process Engineer in Indianapolis, Indiana
Your Role:
- Develop and optimize bioprocesses to produce biopharmaceuticals, including upstream and downstream processes.
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate process parameters, troubleshoot process issues, and optimize process performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
- Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure consistent and reproducible product quality.
- Participate in technology transfer activities to ensure successful implementation of bioprocesses in manufacturing facilities.
- Analyze and interpret data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments and provide technical expertise to support process improvements and innovation.
- Perform operations in cleanrooms, following established procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in any discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters or PhD in Chemical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in bioprocess engineering, with a focus on the development of biopharmaceutical processes.
- 1+ years of experience with upstream and downstream bioprocesses, including cell culture, fermentation, and purification.
- Experience with technology transfer and scale-up activities.
