Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machinery. This includes analyzing and maintaining systems and equipment in the plant, completing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and machinery continue to run smoothly. The role involves working on motors, engines, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machines. Maintenance Technicians are also responsible for referencing and interpreting diagrams, operations manuals, engineering specifications, sketches, or manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
Analyze and maintain systems and equipment in the plant.
Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation of equipment and machinery.
Work on motors, engines, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machines.
Reference and interpret diagrams, operations manuals, engineering specifications, sketches, and manufacturer's instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
At least two years of maintenance experience in a production environment
Mechanical comprehension and functional understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, and motors
Electrical field device/component troubleshooting and replacement
PLC diagnostics and experience preferred
Process equipment control knowledge for troubleshooting and installations
Field service knowledge (photo eyes, smart eyes, micro switches, encoders, reed sensors, etc.)
Electromechanical troubleshooting (controls, components, control wiring diagnosis, etc.)

Work Environment
Work in a state-of-the-art facility, a leader in the baking industry with a large manufacturing and production facility. The plant is temperature controlled. The shift is from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am on a 2-2-3 schedule.
