First Choice Seafood, Inc. (Indianapolis, Indiana) seeks Logistics Analyst to analyze product delivery and supply chain processes to identify and recommend changes; collect logistics information in both English and Chinese; maintain the companys ERP and inventory databases; interpret and analyze data on logistics availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing and distribution, supplier management, and transportation; apply analytical methods and statistical tools to understand, predict, and control logistics operations; identify opportunities for cost reduction; develop standard operating procedures and provide training to the transportation team in Chinese and English; and prepare bilingual reports on logistics performance measures for the management team. Requires minimum of Bachelors Degree in Statistics (or related field); proficiency in BHLSQL; strong analytical skills; knowledge of load planning, warehouse database implementation and maintenance; and strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; and proficiency in English and Mandarin languages.
