Description

We are searching for a meticulous Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our transport industry team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As an HR Assistant, you will be tasked with managing HR-related documentation, handling HR-related inquiries or complaints, performing background checks, and assisting in organizing and coordinating HR policies and procedures. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Handle HR-related inquiries or complaints and provide appropriate solutions

• Maintain accurate records of employees and manage HR-related documentation

• Conduct background checks on potential employees and handle auditing tasks

• Utilize HRMS and ADP Workforce Now for efficient management of employee data

• Assist in organizing, coordinating, and executing HR policies and procedures

• Leverage skills in ADP - Financial Services for financial operations

• Utilize Ceridian and ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for effective HR operations

• Provide excellent customer service to employees

• Manage and execute benefit functions for employees

• Use About Time for efficient time tracking and management.

Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required for accurate financial management.

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now to ensure efficient workforce management.

• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for effective communication and data transfer.

• Experience with Ceridian for comprehensive human capital management.

• Competence in HRMS for effective human resource management.

• Ability to use 'About Time' software for efficient workforce management.

• Auditing skills are necessary for maintaining compliance with regulations.

• Experience with conducting background checks is necessary for employee vetting.

• Knowledge of benefit functions is required to assist with employee benefits administration.
