, gaining practical knowledge of state government through active participation in the legislative process
.
At the direction of the V
ice President for Government Relations
and working closely with the Government Relations and Public Policy Manger
, this position will
develop professional skills while strengthening their political knowledge
and growing their net
work
.
This position will have o
pportunities to work on projects aimed at influencing
policy that will help
families in Central Indiana and across the state
move out of poverty
through increasing
equitable
access to basic needs and family opportunities
. Assigned projects can be catered to the
intern's specific interests.
