The role and responsibilities of the regional account manager mirror those of the global account manager, but for the region in which they are appointed:
What You'll Do:
Key regional point of contact between Amex GBT Select and Client
Maintaining regular coordination and communication with global and local account managers to align with business plan, travel goals and objectives, and tracking performance against goals at local sector level
Identifying client's business travel goals and objectives for the region
Monitoring and tracking performance against goals at a regional level
Reporting of regional/local sector goals accomplished through business reviews
Regular coordination and communication with all local sectors in the region
Scheduling conference calls with local sectors in the region
Data hierarchy set up, and consolidating regional/global data
Monitoring and reporting on costs, service performance, customer satisfaction, trends and savings opportunities for the region
Service level monitoring and sharing of the regional scorecard
Following up with local sectors on service performance or issues
Quarterly action plans to address areas which require improvement
Benchmarking client's business travel performance with peers
Conducting regional Quarterly Planning Sessions
Participation in industry events with key client contacts
Providing strategic, consultative support based upon an ongoing assessment of your travel data and an informed understanding of your business objectives
Introducing new and upgraded products and services that will enhance your program and further reduce your total cost of ownership
Customizing a suite of business intelligence reports best suited to your requirements
Providing orientation materials to travelers (electronic welcome kits and/or webinars) to introduce them to your travel program, travel policy and cost-saving initiatives
Your global account manager will be your global point of contact and will be responsible for the strategic direction and performance of your travel program.
Location
United States
The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for either our Annual Incentive Award plan, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance, or eligible for one of our metric-driven Sales Incentive Plans (certain sales roles only). An eligible employee can only participate in one of these plans during an eligible period. This role is also eligible for awards under the company Equity Incentive Plan, which is designed to align participants' interests with those of shareholders.
