POS I TION SUMMARY

Expert in environment requiring awareness with other process areas; controls work pace and progress on equipment; operates within established work routines and occasional supervisory checks

CORE R E SPO N SIBIL I TI E S AND TAS K S

• Follows all policies andguidelines regarding workplace safetyand product quality

• Read and follow documented processes

• Checkon equipment throughout the shift to ensure equipment is working properly

• Loadsand unload deliveriesto and from regional branches

• Operate computer to enter necessary documentation

• Able to troubleshoot andperform minor repairs on equipment

• Make and monitor adjustments in plant via control systems

• Maintain inspection and inventory of operation tools

• Contributes to division results andperformance

• Take care of internal and external customer needs to and expectations

CARBON : Bag products, samples and test and properly label each bag; manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace; switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon; calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press; run facility wastewater treatment plant; calibrate weigh belt every other hour; check incoming city water TDS daily; Insure POTW discharge parameters are within permit limits; perform hourly inspection of WWTP and complete the log

REGEN : Sort bottles by size and type of resin; Operate forklift to move resin tanks and materials through factory, may assist in loading trucks; evacuate bottles and regenerate resin batches; fill and quality test SDI products (process SDI product beginning to end); complete quality control documentation; monitor different meters, gauges, and pressures; regenerate resin to replenish mobile de-ionization trailers.

POS I TION R EQUI R EME N TS

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum three years of experience in an industrial setting

• Knowledge of chemicals used in specific regeneration processes

• Must be licensed forklift driver or able toobtain forklift certification at time of hire

• Must understand process flow of carbon/reactivation process

• Must beable to complete40-hour hazardous waste operations training as well as additional site-

• specific safety and operator training

• Mid level machine troubleshoot and repair process machinery

• Ability to communicate clearly to team members and management

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of products

• Pref e rred : • Some manufacturing/plant experience preferred • Experience with implementing 5sand lean manufacturing principles

Salary range:

$45,500.00 - $72,500.00
