Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)

• Master's Degree (Preferred)

• 10+ years: Commensurate executive level experience. (Required)

• Provider Relations: Works in coordination with Product Line and Physician Leadership to ensure Provider staffing meets the budgeted volumes. Works as a Liaison among the Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology to deliver quality patient care. Oversees the overall patient access expectations and how that impacts Provider productivity.

• Quality and Compliance: Designs and directs quality and process improvement initiatives to enhance public and referring physician access to services across the delivery system. Ensures all centers are in compliance with institutional process, procedures and meets regulatory guidelines. Oversees human resources functions to include recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

• Financial Well-Being: Plans, organizes and directs all activities related to region wide patient access services management, including cost estimating, insurance authorizations, scheduling, billing and reimbursement. Participates in annual and long term strategic planning to enhance services, utilization and revenue for the regional ambulatory sites. Directs region wide revenue cycle monitoring systems, including patient treatment cycles. Oversees financial management of patient care operations and clinical research financial approvals and reconciliation.

• Financial Management: Accountable for financial planning and strategy as well as capital expenditures and budget performance. Establish annual staffing, capital and operating budgets for area of responsibility, assuring that they are executed and support the organization’s overall strategy. Provide effective budget monitoring, financial management, and resource allocation. Seeks and recommends potential opportunities for cost containment, and analyzes variances from budget plan or anticipated trends.

• Decision Making: Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters (e.g., formulating programs, allocating resources) affecting a significant segment(s) of the network; acts independently, restricted only by very broad policy and objective-oriented guidance; consequences of erroneous decisions would normally result in failure to achieve objectives critical to the success of a significant segment of the network, and may result in noncompliance with applicable regulations or have a negative impact to business unit, region, or possibly network financials.

• Strategic Thinking: Displays forward thinking to anticipate needs and opportunities, develops strategy and plans, and proactively aligns teams and resources. Analyzes risk and mitigates when possible. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters of the network; acts independently, restricted only by very broad policy and objective oriented guidance.
