Job Description

We are seeking an Epic Systems Analyst who will be responsible for configuring, rolling out, and supporting Willow Epic applications. The role involves conducting business and systems analysis to define requirements, designing and implementing Epic software solutions, and resolving system issues in collaboration with end-users. This position is full-time, remote, and a contract to possible hire opportunity.

Due to the nature of this position, all candidates must be able to work direct for any employer without sponsorship.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct business and systems analysis to define requirements and document processes

  • Design, build, test, implement, and support Willow Epic software to meet user needs

  • Work with end-users to identify and resolve system issues

  • Analyze workflows, evaluate user experience, and create/maintain documentation and training materials

  • Configure Epic environments to ensure standardized workflows

  • Perform routine maintenance, update systems with new functionality, and provide end-user support and guidance

  • Contribute to and manage small to medium projects independently, providing timely updates to stakeholders

  • Conduct root cause analysis and identify solutions to resolve complex problems

What You’ll Need

Required:

  • Associate's degree

  • 3-5+ years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules

  • Epic Application Certification/Accreditation

  • Pharmacy experience

  • Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Knowledge of project management principles

Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a relevant field; 2 years of relevant work experience accepted in lieu of a degree

  • 3 years of healthcare industry experience

  • Epic Willow Inpatient Certification/Accreditation

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
