Job Title: Electrical Automation Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Automation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical automation systems in our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of PLC programming, electrical systems, and automation technologies.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical automation systems
Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of automation equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical issues in automation systems
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize automation processes
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in PLC programming and configuration
Strong understanding of electrical systems and automation technologies
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred
3+ years of experience in electrical automation or a related field
Experience with various automation software and tools
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00
