Job Title: Electrical Automation Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Automation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical automation systems in our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of PLC programming, electrical systems, and automation technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical automation systems

  • Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of automation equipment

  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues in automation systems

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize automation processes

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in PLC programming and configuration

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and automation technologies

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings

  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in electrical automation or a related field

  • Experience with various automation software and tools

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00
