Description

We are searching for a meticulous and diligent Customer Service Representative in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role plays a crucial part in managing customer applications and records. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth customer experience by addressing inquiries promptly and maintaining a high standard of customer service. This contract to hire employment opportunity offers a dynamic workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure accuracy

• Resolve customer credit inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

• Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate action to collect delinquent payments

• Handle high call volumes and manage data entry of conversations

• Provide exceptional customer service, including membership renewals and answering questions

• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance

• Adhere to business casual dress code and workplace policies, including the restriction on cell phone use

• Utilize MS Word and MS Excel for various tasks

• Apply basic office skills in daily tasks and operations.

Requirements • Demonstrable experience in a customer service role

• Proficiency in using MS Word and MS Excel

• Strong data entry skills, including numeric data entry

• Previous experience in a call center environment is preferred

• Possession of basic office skills, such as filing, scheduling, and answering phones

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to handle customer queries and complaints professionally

• High level of patience and empathy towards customers

• Strong problem-solving skills to address customer issues effectively

• Ability to work in a team and contribute positively to the team dynamics

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools related to customer service.
