AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS
We have full time staff BHA positions available for first shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), second shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) and third shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
TRAINING AND ORIENTATION
Resource Treatment Center is committed to training and safety. All new-hire BHAs will attend a week hospital-wide orientation before spending time shadowing on the units.
As a Behavioral Health Associate at Resource Treatment Center you will participate in the development and implementation of patients' treatment plan by:
Providing care and close supervision of facility patients and documenting behavior
Developing positive relationships with patients and co-workers
Following facility policies and procedures implementing treatment plans and providing crisis intervention as necessary.
Actively participant as part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction
Act as a role model in using appropriate counseling skills by de-escalating aggression, using active listening skills, using appropriate tone and volume of voice, providing a high frequency and variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and promoting a positive peer culture.

REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred.
CPR, First Aid, and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
Minimum 21 years of age.
