The Tech at Lilly Team Manufacturing & Quality (MQ) team is seeking a technical professional with a strong passion for streamlining manufacturing processes through innovative automation solutions. What You’ll Be Doing:

You will play pivotal role within the MQ Device Assembly & Packaging (DAP), Global Supply Chain, Engineering & HSE Tech at Lilly team. You will collaborate with the Global Parenteral Program to streamline manufacturing processes, ensure platform maintenance and evolution, and improve operational practices as it relates to standardization through our expansion of additional assembly & packaging lines. In addition, you will lead a global team and collaborate with local teams to implement Global Manufacturing Systems, including MES, EWM, and Robotics. The focus is on standardizing solutions to expedite the deployment of Device and Packaging (DAP) lines and robotic equipment. The position reports to an Associate VP in Tech at Lilly – MQ.

How You’ll Succeed:

  • Maintain the network IT initiatives and prioritization.

  • Guide the harmonization of Parenteral Product Network/DAP network/global Tech@Lilly initiatives such as Manufacturing Execution Systems, integration with automation, in conjunction with the MQ digital strategy.

  • Foster the integration of the DAP network with the Tech@Lilly – MQ global functional agenda (and vice-versa).

  • Assure Data Integrity Management according to Lilly Policies.

  • Lead improvement and maintenance of existing integration layer for DAP platforms.

  • Facilitate the effort to replicate technology solutions and influence business partners in harmonization of common business processes within device assembly & packaging.

  • Lead centralized management of validation activities in relation to Lilly CSV policies for systems in the DAP Integration Layer, including incidents and changes in Service Now.

  • Maintain a broad understanding of the pharmaceutical business and be fully engaged with business teams, bringing an objective voice to the table, and facilitating decisions grounded in data.

What You Should Bring:

  • Showcased ability to learn and apply technical knowledge in manufacturing operations.

  • Displayed ability to partner effectively with manufacturing sites in different geographies.

  • Customer focused with a high level of understanding of impact on production activities, inside and outside MQ.

  • Prior experience in global project management in Parenteral or DAP.

  • Exhibited proficiency in IT project management.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, Science, or another related technical field

  • 7+ years' experience in IT and automation within the manufacturing sector, particularly in parenteral or device assembly and packaging environments

Additional Information:

  • Preferred position location, Indianapolis, Indiana working in a hybrid model

  • Global Role

  • Travel may be required to other Manufacturing sites in US and/or Europe
