Asset Management Coordinator As an Asset Management Coordinator you will be responsible for providing support and corporate guidance for the purchasing, usage and administration of rolling stock assets across the Company.
Essential Functions & Requirements:
Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
Tracks CER numbers in concert with the Accounting function
Processes titles for leased and owned assets; completes forms, processes check requests and files for title certificates
Maintains the title depository by administering, filing, and safeguarding all rolling stock vehicle titles
Ensures registration and plating, including renewals of all Company assets, which may require online processing or in-person visits to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles
Processes taxes from states/counties involved in the plating process; completes forms and check requests and processes payments
Tracks, administers, and completes check requests, submitting all items regarding property / use taxes, including all HVUT (2290) Heavy Vehicle Use Tax
Maintains responsibility for IFTA tax reporting, documentation and decal control
Executes payments for all toll charges and issues documents from charges to support subcontractor auditing practices
Manages fuel card deposits and distribution
Orders and maintains adequate supplies using the Purchase Order System; codes invoices and / or expense reports, receives purchase orders, and prints, reviews and distributes items where appropriate
Assigns and manages Company deadlines to ensure quality and compliance as needed
Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Associate or bachelor's degree (preferred)
Experience:
1+ years of experience in an office environment (required)
Competencies:
Ability to effectively utilize standard office equipment and associated applications
Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Strong proficiency in various applications within the Microsoft Office suite
Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
