100% Remote role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master/Program Manager to join their Business Intelligence team.

We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60 - $70 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitation: Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, refinement sessions, and retrospectives. Ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices.

  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration within and between cross-functional BI teams, promoting communication and transparency for ongoing projects. Facilitate discussions and decision-making to drive project success.

  • Obstacle Removal: Identify and communicate roadblocks that hinder team progress. Proactively seek resolution avenues to ensure the team can deliver value without disruptions.

  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and communicate team progress using Agile metrics. Provide visibility into the team's performance and contribute to data-driven decision-making.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with team leaders, analysts, and other members to prioritize and refine the product backlog. Ensure alignment between business goals and development efforts.

  • Training and Coaching: Provide training and coaching on Agile principles and practices. Mentor team members in the adoption of Agile methodologies and help the team self-organize using these principles.

  • Support strategic programs that may require program management, based on available bandwidth

  • Coordinate with Jira administrators to align on defined Jira workflows

  • Leverage Confluence and M365 for tracking, documentation, and reporting.

Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar Agile role

  • Expert knowledge of Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban

  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and facilitation abilities

  • Able to influence without authority and drive consensus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience removing impediments and enabling team success

  • Passion for continuous improvement and coaching others

  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile tools

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
