We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Director of Admissions at Options. In this role, you will provide leadership, foster collaboration, and ensure the efficient operation of our Admissions Department. Your expertise in quality management, staff supervision, and compliance will be instrumental in driving our department's success. Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and foster a collaborative and integrated team within the Admissions Department.
· Implement the strategic plan of the business development and marketing department, focusing on facility admissions and directing potential clients to treatment.
· Address quality management issues related to crisis triage, evaluation, intake, and admission processes.
· Assign and distribute scheduled evaluations, intakes, or admissions based on requests and hospital census.
· Conduct quality assurance and quality improvement programs for crisis triage, evaluation, intake, and admission services.
· Perform follow-up communication functions and generate recommendations for organizational leadership.
· Provide orientation, in-service, and continuing education programs for department staff.
· Serve as a clinical liaison with referral sources.
· Improve efficiency and quality of services within the department, developing and meeting departmental goals and objectives.
· Ensure compliance with new laws and regulations, keeping the department up to date.
· Train and supervise staff, providing guidance and fostering a cooperative work environment.
· Plan, assign, supervise, and perform required duties during assigned shifts to ensure patient safety and departmental efficiency.
· Prioritize potential admissions based on patient needs and facility capability.
· Demonstrate expertise in clinical assessment, diagnoses, and interventions with patients.
· Complete the EMTALA log, if applicable, for each patient seen by admissions.
· Participate in staff training as a preceptor for new admission team employees.
· Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers, addressing and resolving complaints to ensure patient satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in a social services field is required.
· Master's degree in a social services field or RN preferred.
· Two or more years of experience in a healthcare admissions role is preferred.
· CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by the facility).
