Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the non-profit industry located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role to be filled is that of an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The person in this role will be responsible for various tasks related to accounts receivable, collections, and data management.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle B2B collections to ensure prompt payment of invoices

• Process and export information from Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Execute accurate and timely billing processes for the organization

• Conduct reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy of accounts and financial records

• Assist in running reports in Excel for financial analysis and decision-making

• Maintain up-to-date customer credit records and take appropriate action when necessary

• Utilize Accounts Receivable (AR) skills to manage and track all payments and transactions

• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to billing and accounts receivable. Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) role within the non-profit sector

• Proficiency in Billing Functions and B2B collections

• Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive financial information

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field would be advantageous

• Familiarity with financial regulations and standards in the non-profit sector

• Proactive in problem-solving and able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards in previous roles.
