Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, this role is central to the merging of our Michigan and Indiana Accounts Payable teams. The successful candidate will be involved in high volume payables entry using an ERP system and will be a key player in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of account payables in the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process high volumes of account payables using an ERP system

• Maintain and update account payable records and reports

• Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to account payables

• Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date

• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline and automate the accounts payable process

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established accounting standards

• Maintain and manage financial records using ADP - Financial Services

• Leverage your knowledge of accrual accounting in the management of account payables

• Use Automated Clearing House (ACH) for efficient financial transactions

• Assist in cross-training team members to ensure a robust and flexible team. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required.

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is necessary.

• Experience using ADP - Financial Services is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Concur software system is expected.

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is vital.

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is essential.

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is expected.

• Proven auditing skills are necessary.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is advantageous.
