DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented ESG Project Manager in Indianapolis, IN.

Knowledge Sharing : Documenting and sharing learnings will enhance team collaboration and improve future project outcomes.
Resource Management : Assigning and guiding appropriate resources will optimize team performance and project efficiency.
Stakeholder Collaboration : Partnering with business stakeholders will ensure alignment and support, leading to successful project completions.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and Alignment : Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments that are aligned with organizational goals, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.
Project Issue and Risk Management : Identify, assess, and prioritize project issues and risks, using recommended tools and disciplines to minimize, monitor, and control them, maximizing positive outcomes.
Project Resource Management : Develop and manage resource plans, including expenses and headcount, using project management tools to ensure resources are used effectively.
Project Schedule Management : Manage project schedules using recommended tools and processes to ensure timely completion within agreed timelines.
Project Scope Management : Maintain a clear list of project deliverables, ensuring that all required work is completed and unnecessary work is avoided, using project management tools and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
Experience:
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required.
Additional Responsibilities:
The ESG Strategy Team's vision is to advance Cummins' ESG leadership while ensuring we meet evolving and complex global regulatory and other stakeholder requirements.
This role will:
Work with various groups within the organization on environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals, metrics and related processes
Manage various projects in the ESG strategy team related to ESG objectives
Responsible for data collection, report compilation and narrative creation for select ESG reports
Responsible for addressing ESG related stakeholder inquiries
Responsible for creating and deploying training for certain ESG processes
Familiarity with existing ESG disclosure frameworks and regulations is a plus
