Responsibilities and Expectations: Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Financial Analyst to help lead our financial reporting, consolidation, planning, and forecasting processes for our Midwest and Northeast regions. The Financial Analyst will work in the Indiana, Pennsylvania area. Under general direction, this analyst will develop and interpret financial and operational information for analysis to financial, operations, and executive management teams. The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis and decision support for the Indiana, PA service center and Regional Support teams through project analytics, dashboard reporting & insights, monthly business reviews and budgeting/forecasting Financial Analysis, Reporting & Ad-Hoc Analytics Execute weekly and monthly reporting deliverables for key business partners, including the Indiana, PA monthly business review Communicate financial insights and recommendations to key stakeholders to make informed business decisions Participate in special projects where a Finance perspective is required or requested by Management Support future automation efforts for FP&A to streamline weekly/monthly reporting Assist in the preparation of assigned components of the annual operating plan, including sales, gross profit, operating expenses, administrative expenses and capital expenditures Analyze and proactively address forecast accuracy issues Analyze variances vs budget and historical results Complete supporting month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis Compile, validate and summarize expense information for reporting to business units Effectively summarize test results and utilize findings to perform ROI and hindsight analyses Work closely with the Regional Finance Manager to interpret and analyze financial data Provide financial budgeting and detailed analysis of actual results versus planned and forecast budgets Maintain IPS's consolidation and planning platform Special projects are an integral part of this position Work closely with the management team in overall financial support of Operations Prepare and present key executive summary analysis to Finance and Executive leadership Prepare and present forecasts, reporting and analysis, including, but not limited to 1) detailed P&L reviews, 2) continual review of current processes to identify and implement improvements, and 3) provide insight and recommendations for cost savings or profitability improvement strategies Travel up to 25% to meet needs of the business and its customers Qualifications and Competencies: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field Understanding of GAAP Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced nvironment Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and be detail oriented Superior written and verbal communication skills Prior working experience with Microsoft Office / Excel (i.e., vlookups, pivot tables, if then statements, etc.) is preferred Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO) 401k Employer Match Bonus Incentives Tuition Reimbursement Program Medical, Dental and Vision plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) And more!
