PeopleReady HVAC Technician in Indian Trail, North Carolina

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking a five year plus journeyman level HVAC technician to do HVAC equipment replacements in the NC/SC area. Transportation and out of town hotel stays can be provided if needed. Start date is scheduled for July 8th and each day will begin at 7am with a Monday through Friday schedule.

Note: The pay rate for this job is $25 - $36 / hour

Responsibilities:

  • Split systems ranging from 3 ton to 10 ton primarily Charlotte to Columbia,

  • HVAC changeouts requires heavy lifting, duct modifications, copper pipe welding, low voltage and high voltage wiring and refrigeration charging to complete a full start to finish replacement. 

  • Must have full PPE (Hard hat, Safety Glasses, Gloves, High Visibility Vest, and Steel Toed Boots) and come dressed in appropriate clothing (NO SHORTS, TENNIS SHOES, DIRTY CLOTHING)

Failure to show up in the current attire, with the correct equipment will result in suspension and in some cases, termination

 Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience on commercial construction sites and/or industrial sites

  • Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the fly

  • In-depth knowledge of building codes and laws in your area

  • Have all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your jobsite

  • References that will verify your professional skills and experience

  • Reliable transportation to Indian Trails home base (transportation outside of Charlotte area provided)

  • Must have steel toed work boots and all PPE's 

  • OSHA-10 Construction

  • Certification preferred, not required

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
